Inspiration. Focus. Growth.

Join us for immersive 6-day masterclass sessions with world‑renowned artists in a retreat‑style setting, nestled in the peaceful Vermont mountains, designed to elevate both your playing and performance skills.

Masterclass Highlights

  • Masterclasses and lessons with distinguished faculty

  • Private practice cabins with grand pianos

  • Comfortable single accommodations for a focused and restorative retreat

  • Chef-prepared meals with locally sourced ingredients shared in a warm communal dining room that fosters connection and conversation

  • Evening concerts and a vibrant musical community

  • Midweek day-off excursion to experience the best of Vermont (scenery, local culture, relaxation)

  • A beautiful rural Vermont setting that supports creativity, focus and artistic growth

Each Masterclass participant will

  • Perform in a masterclass and a concert, and receive one private lesson (Participants in the Cheng/Chow masterclass will attend masterclasses with one faculty member and receive a private lesson with the other, ensuring meaningful contact with both artists.)

  • Attend masterclasses and performances, gaining insight from every pianist in the program

  • Share family-style meals with faculty and peers, creating natural opportunities for conversation mentorship, and networking

This immersive, Masterclass format lets pianists learn not only from their own coaching, but from the rich variety of approaches, repertoire, and feedback offered throughout the session.

The Auditor-in-Residence Experience

We invite our adult piano lovers and curious learner to join our summer masterclass sessions as Auditors. Whether you play the piano or simply love classical music, this is a rare opportunity to live inside the artistic process without the pressure of performance. Auditors will

  • Attend daily masterclasses

  • Enjoy student recitals and faculty concerts

  • Participate in guided listening discussions

  • Gather for evening socials with musicians

  • Practice in the Adamant practice cabins (optional)

  • Receive a private lesson (with advance booking and fee)
