Pianists in Masterclass programs are welcome to attend Traditional sessions before or after their own and remain on campus between programs.

RETREAT DAYS (Cheng & Chow to Traditional 3)

For those attending both the Cheng & Chow Masterclass and Traditional Session 3, we’re pleased to offer a special Quiet Retreat between sessions (July 10–14). Participants are invited to stay on campus for four days and four nights of uninterrupted practice and reflection.

Enjoy the comfort of your private single room, unlimited access to our practice facilities, and the serenity of our surrounding countryside. Meals can be facilitated for an additional cost, and optional off-campus outings—such as hikes or visits to nearby Montpelier for shopping and dining—will be available for those who’d like a balance of relaxation and recreation.​​​​​​​​​​

THE AUDITOR-IN-RESIDENCE EXPERIENCE

We invite our adult piano lovers and curious learner to join our summer masterclass sessions as Auditors. Whether you play the piano or simply love classical music, this is a rare opportunity to live inside the artistic process without the pressure of performance. Auditors will

• Attend daily masterclasses

• Enjoy student recitals and faculty concerts

• Participate in guided listening discussions

• Gather for evening socials with musicians​

• Practice in the Adamant practice cabins (optional)

• Receive a private lesson (with advance booking and fee)

AUDITOR DAY PASS
 

Join us for a full day inside the artistic life of Adamant. The Auditor Day Pass invites music lovers and pianists to attend masterclasses, share a meal, and experience the warmth of our musical community in a beautiful rural Vermont setting.

 

Day Pass guests are welcome from the morning masterclass through the evening concert.

Includes:

• Attendance at all masterclasses that day

• Lunch in our communal dining room

• Coffee and pastries available in the dining hall

• Admission to the evening concert

• Time to enjoy the campus grounds and woodland setting

 

$95 per day
