Spend 5 or 12 Joy-Filled Days in the Green Mountains of Vermont!​

Piano Camp is a welcoming retreat for piano enthusiasts (age 18+) to learn, recharge, and make music in a beautiful woodland setting. Partner with a fellow pianist to explore duet repertoire, deepen your skills through engaging lessons and activities, and enjoy opportunities to connect with new friends while discovering the best of Vermont. Piano Camp is designed to support a wide range of goals, from exploratory learning to highly focused, immersive piano study.

Piano Camp Offers:​

  • Inspiring masterclasses with a supportive faculty

  • Multiple private lessons and coachings 

  • Daily practice in private cabin studios with grand pianos, with opportunities for additional practice time as available

  • Workshops on technique, practice skills, performance, improvisation & more, with optional hands-on participation for those seeking deeper engagement

  • Friday concert and informal performance opportunities, all voluntary

  • Opportunities to learn 4-hand music with a partner

  • A friendly community to share your music and make new friends

  • Chef-prepared meals with locally sourced ingredients

  • Comfortable single accommodations

  • Organized excursion to experience the best of Vermont

  • A peaceful mountain setting that supports creativity and focus

For pianists seeking a more intensive experience, Piano Camp offers ample opportunities to engage deeply through extended practice, regular performance opportunities, masterclasses, workshops, and coaching, depending on individual goals and faculty availability.

A day at Piano Camp:​

​​​​​

8am:     Continental breakfast at your own pace

​​​​

9am:     Practice on a grand piano in your own woodland cabin. Additional practice times may be scheduled throughout the day as available.

11am:     Ensemble coaching with faculty or Private Lesson

​​​​​

12:30p: Family-style Lunch with Piano Camp colleagues

​​​​​​​

1:30p:    Practice on a grand piano in your own woodland cabin

​​​​​​​

3:30p:   Lecture/Presentation, Interactive Workshop, Masterclass or Excursion to Local Attraction. Participation levels may vary based on individual interests and goals.

5:30p:    Happy Hour featuring Vermont-made libations, artisan cheeses and savory snacks

​​​​​​​​

6p:           Family-style Dinner with Piano Camp colleagues

​​​​​​​​

7:30p:    4-hand share, impromptu performances, or concert followed by an evening bonfire. Evening performances are optional and open to all who wish to participate.

Piano Camp Tuition

 

  • Enroll in 5-day Piano Camp (6 nights)

    • Full Participant (performer, room & board): $2,000

    • Commuter Participant (performer, all meals): $1,400

  • Enroll in 12-day Piano Camp (13 nights)

    • Full Participant (performer, room & board): $3,600

    • Commuter Participant (performer, all meals): $2,300
