FAQ: Common Questions About Adamant Music School

HOUSING AND GETTING AROUND CAMPUS
Q: Are single rooms guaranteed?
A: Yes. Each participant is assigned a private bedroom.

Q: Are bathrooms private or shared?
A: Bathrooms are shared by 2–4 people.

Q: Can housing requests be accommodated?
A: Participants may note housing preferences (for example, ground-floor rooms or proximity to facilities) when they register. While specific placements cannot always be guaranteed, the school makes every effort to accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible.

Q: How far are the practice cabins from the dining hall and main buildings?
A: Adamant’s campus is spread across a large rural property in Vermont, and practice cabins are located in several areas of the grounds. Some cabins are close to the main buildings, while others are farther away. The campus map provides a helpful overview of how the cabins, housing, and main facilities are distributed across the property.

DIETARY NEEDS
Q: Can you accommodate allergies or special diets?
A: Yes. A dietary form will be sent in mid-April. We accommodate most needs including allergies, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets.

UNDERAGED ADVANCED PIANISTS
Q: My child is an advanced pianist and under 16. Can they attend?
A: Due to our rural Vermont location, remote practice cabins, shared facilities, and lack of on-site supervision, we cannot accommodate participants under 16 for safety and logistical reasons.
