I was born in Syracuse, NY, and grew up partly there and partly in Vermont.
I spent ten years in New York City, and now live in Marshfield, Vermont, a
fifteen-minute drive from the Adamant Music School.
For thirty years, my husband, Jules, and I operated Upland Bakers, a small
bakery which supplied sourdough bread to local stores from our wood-fired
oven.
I studied drawing with Judith Nelson at Goddard College and painting with
Bill Brauer of Warren, Vermont. I work mainly in oils, and my paintings are
mostly figurative -- still life subjects and landscapes.
