On the grounds of the Adamant Music School stands the Phillips Experimental Theater. Since 1996, this small, unassuming building - a jewelbox of a theater - has been nurturing a small but growing group of theater people and devoted fans.

Each year, QuarryWorks stages three shows: a musical, a children's play, and a drama. Auditions are held in the spring, and each show is created - from start to finish - in two to three weeks. All performances are free, since the QuarryWorks program is sponsored by the Adamant Community Cultural Foundation. The small theater seats only 50 people, so playgoers are invited to come early and picnic on the grounds of the theater.
